Farrellys, a renowned sports kit manufacturer, aimed to streamline the purchasing process for grassroots sports teams but faced significant challenges. Their manual ordering system—relying on email and phone—led to delays, errors, and a heavy administrative workload. Parents and coaches found this process cumbersome, affecting customer satisfaction and repeat business. The system also lacked easy accommodation for kit personalisation, a growing customer demand. Furthermore, scalability was an issue, as the existing process hindered Farrellys' ability to efficiently manage and expand services to more sports clubs.
Our Solution and Implementation
We developed a comprehensive e-commerce solution to transform Farrellys' operations. By building a bespoke website on Shopify, we shifted from manual order handling to an efficient online system, reducing errors and saving time. We implemented password-protected club shops, creating exclusive online stores for each sports club accessible only with a unique password, enhancing privacy and customer experience. To meet the demand for personalisation, we integrated a dynamic customisation tool, allowing customers to personalise their kits directly on the website with names, numbers, and initials. Streamlined navigation and checkout processes reduced cart abandonment rates, and secure payment gateways ensured safe transactions.
